Sandgrounders play in new colour to raise money for the Community Link Foundation charity

Southport FC are playing their pre-season games in this eye-catching purple kit to raise money for Southport-based charity the Community Link Foundation.

The Sandgrounders’ purple Joma kit has been donated by Clive Lord of KC Sportswear and Workwear of Liverpool Road, Birkdale.
Community Link Foundation is a local charity looking to support deserving local individuals or groups who are seeking support but have been unable to achieve funding.

The Community Link Foundation Board treats every enquiry on merit and have a defined criteria to distribute funding. The charity has raised thousands of pounds via an exciting range of events.
As a Southport FC supporter you can add further funds to a tremendous local cause by bidding for a pre-season Community Link Foundation Joma purple shirt.

Auction bidding details will be revealed soon.

Community Link Foundation is a local charity with a difference; it assists anyone in Southport and the surrounding areas who need financial support in the form of a variety of ways.

A spokesman said: “We have a passion for supporting the people and organisations within our community and invest in the people who live in it so that we can be proud of where we live.

“Whether you are a parent with a child requiring assistance as part of an on-going illness or disease, a sports team in need of new equipment to benefit local young people or a community group that needs financial support for supplies or materials, Community Link Foundation can help those who need it most
