Community Link Foundation has been able to give grants to some very worthy people and organisations in the last few months.
These have included Presfield High School to help towards taking a group of sixth form students to London and Southport Trinity Amateur Football Club to upgrade its equipment.
It has only been possible for us to distribute these grants thanks to the generosity of our supporters – whether that’s organisers of a fundraising event, businesses who regularly support us, or one of the many people who support us in other ways.
It might only be August but we are already thinking ahead to the winter months and Christmas events. Lots of people start planning their Autumn events once the children go back to school and we’d love to be considered in those plans. You can be certain that by supporting Community Link Foundation, you would be helping a local charity and benefitting a person or organisation in the community you live in.
We know that lots of people are starting to think of Christmas parties and balls and we would love to be considered to benefit from any fundraising aspect of your event; whether it’s a raffle at your works night out or a Christmas Jumper day.
The more money we raise, the more we can give out and the more people we can help. We would love to hear from you if you would like to help us. We can help plan and promote your event with you and offer support with the fundraising.
If you would like to know more about Community Link Foundation and the work that it does in Southport and the surrounding areas, please go to www.clfoundation.co.uk.
You will also find information on our website about the 600 Club which is our monthly lottery. It costs just £5 a month and has a £1000 winner every month.
