The Community Link Foundation was delighted to be able to assist a grant request from Simon Cunningham for assistance in the purchase of a hoist tracking system to help offer a safe environment for his son Noah.

Simon contacted Community Link Foundation requesting support to cover the cost of the track hoist which will enable the family to transfer Noah from his wheelchair in his bedroom to the bathroom in a safe and supportive way, this will greatly benefit Noah and his family in their day to day lives.

Simon explained, “Noah will benefit greatly from this as it will allow him to be transported in a safe way, it will also men a great deal to the family and improve the quality of care that we give to him”

Simon explained “our aim is to try and give Noah a normal life. We want him to achieve and do what normal school children do at his age. We try to involve him in as many activities as possible and this equipment will help greatly”

David Barron Chairperson of Community Link Foundation explained “we have had a lot of grant request lately and this one for Noah was particular stand out, as it made a really benefit to the whole family and we understand how important it was to them”

David also explained that the foundation was seeing more and more grant requests coming through their website and that they will look to assist as many as possible but the foundation requires the support of the local community to be able to make these grants.
